ASOI patient advocate Susie Birney is excited to share details of an upcoming family walk arranged by patients, details of which can be found on the poster below. Lough Boora is 1 hour and 20 minutes away from the M50 Red Cow junction. It is an ideal spot for people living with obesity as it has a small lake with benches, a bigger lake for 5km walks, and a bike hire facility which caters for all. Organisers and participants will meet at the carpark at 12.45pm, with the walk beginning at 1pm. Everyone will then meet back at the cafe between 2pm and 2.30pm where there will be a picnic and spot prizes for everyone there! This will be a great event for all the family.
